Production Engineer - LondonWe're working with a proprietary trading firm, trading its own capital in the most competitive traditional markets for over a decade. Colocated infra with FPGAs handling market data decode and order entry.The seatYou would join the team that covers everything behind the trade: the books and P&L, the risk numbers the desk trades against, position keeping, and daily reporting.Half the role is hands-on Python - internal applications, ETL and data pipelines, deployment tooling and CI/CD, and reconciliation and data quality frameworks. This is genuine building, not scripting. The other half is running the estate: their own on-prem Linux, monitoring and alerting, and a pager rotation.A trading background is preferred, but not required. Recent engineering hires came from outside the industry.
