Core Job SummaryThe Production ERP Officer manages the digital Bill of Materials (BOM), scheduling job routings, creating barcodes/job, and reconciling real-time inventory. This role ensures that material planning remains precise, floor supervisors have accurate data, and production costs are tracked flawlessly.Also responsible for maintaining data integrity within the plant’s ERP system, transforming engineering designs and sales orders into accurate digital workflows, and tracking material allocation across all fabrication stages.Key ResponsibilitiesERP Data Structure Management: Import, configure, and maintain multi-level parent-child Bill of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system, cleanly separating sheet metal, hardware, chemical coatings, and assembly materials.Job Routing Creation: Establish exact step-by-step digital paths for custom and standard products to track lead times accurately.MRP Execution & Material Allocation: Run Material Requirements Planning (MRP) cycles to automatically allocate existing inventory to active work orders and flag material shortages for the procurement team.Job Card Issuance: Generate, print, and distribute physical or digital "Job Cards" with operational barcodes to the shop floor, giving supervisors their precise daily manufacturing targets.Inventory Backflushing: Update the ERP system ensuring the software automatically deducts the exact raw sheets, powder paint volumes, and fasteners used upon batch completion.Variance & Scrap Tracking: Log material variances, sheet metal nesting inefficiencies, and floor scrap reported by supervisors to keep inventory data accurate and reflect true manufacturing costs.Delivery Scheduling Coordination: Track live job progress through the ERP dashboard to provide the sales and logistics teams with real-time updates on estimated completion dates.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems or Business AdministrationExperience: 5+ years of experience working with manufacturing ERP/MRP systems specifically within a metal fabrication or precision assembly environment.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing workflows, multi-level BOM structures, material backflushing, and inventory control logic.Technical & Soft SkillsSoftware Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and direct experience with barcode tracking systems or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to cross-reference physical inventory shortages with digital system records to quickly find and fix tracking discrepancies.Clear Communication: Ability to easily translate technical engineering changes into clear ERP data entry fields and explain digital tracking procedures to floor operators.Language: Strong command of English or Arabic.ERP Systems | MRP | BOM Management | Production Planning | Job Routing | Work Order Management | Job Card Management | Inventory Management | Material Allocation | Backflushing | Scrap & Variance Tracking | Production Scheduling | Manufacturing Cost Control | ERP Data Management | Production Tracking
