What You'll Do

Oversee day to day operations of the group in a production environmentAuthority for personnel action (hire, suspend, promote and discipline employees)Trains and ensures safety of team membersMonitors schedule to accomplish maintenance goalsExercises independent judgmentDirects and coordinates fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, engines and systemsEnsures that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing processOversees installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water and steam systemsEvaluates mechanical products to determine their cost-effectiveness and efficiencyMay evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctionsInput data in KRONOS, TRACS, MS OFFICE and EXCEL and Development skills in additional Computer programsTracking Budget Expenses, Supervision, Quality Management, Safety Management, Delegation, Performance Management, Organization, Foster Teamwork, Self-Development, Giving FeedbackProven experience as supervisor or relevant roleWhat You'll Need:BS/BA in management or relevant discipline will be considered an advantageMinimum 5+ years Maintenance experienceFamiliarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the fieldSupervisor experience preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership skills
