Production Manager

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a results-driven Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and consistently. The role is responsible for coordinating production activities, optimizing resources, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring products are manufactured according to approved specifications and schedules.Key responsibilities include planning production schedules, allocating manpower and equipment, monitoring production output, coordinating with procurement, warehouse, quality, maintenance, and other departments, and resolving operational issues. The Production Manager will monitor productivity, production costs, material usage, downtime, and overall equipment performance while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.The role also involves implementing standard operating procedures, maintaining workplace safety, supporting quality control initiatives, analyzing production data, and driving continuous improvement. Strong leadership, operational planning, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills are essential.QualificationsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, workflow management, and operational efficiency.Ability to develop and manage production schedules while meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment utilization, material control, and workforce planning.Ability to monitor production KPIs, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions.Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and motivate production teams effectively.Good understanding of quality control, workplace safety, lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and continuous improvement principles.Ability to identify production bottlenecks, minimize downtime, and improve operational efficiency.Familiarity with ERP, manufacturing execution, inventory, or production management systems.Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with production reporting tools is preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, and safety.
