Production Manager

Location: Saudi ArabiaEvent Period: 7 January – 5 February 2027Start Date: Approximately 1 week prior to the eventAvailability: Candidates must be available for the full event periodAbout the RoleWe are looking for experienced Production Managers to join the delivery team for a major sporting event taking place across Riyadh, Jeddah and Khobar.The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production, temporary event infrastructure and event overlay, ensuring that all required elements are planned, delivered, installed and ready for the event.This role requires strong project management, supplier coordination and on-site delivery experience within large-scale sporting, stadium, entertainment or live events.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the planning and delivery of temporary event production and infrastructure/overlay.Coordinate suppliers, contractors, production teams and other stakeholders.Develop and manage production schedules, installation timelines and delivery plans.Oversee the procurement, fabrication, transportation and installation of production and overlay elements.Monitor suppliers and contractors to ensure work is delivered according to agreed specifications, timelines and quality standards.Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate on-site installation and build activities.Ensure all production and overlay requirements are completed and event-ready within agreed deadlines.Identify potential delivery issues, risks and delays and implement appropriate solutions.Coordinate with venue, operations, technical, logistics, security and other event teams as required.Manage changes, snagging and remedial works throughout the build and event period.Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with applicable health, safety and venue requirements.Support the smooth transition from build and installation through to event operations and decommissioning.Provide regular progress updates and escalate issues where necessary.Requirements3–5+ years of relevant production or event delivery experience.Proven experience delivering large-scale events, ideally major sporting events, stadium events, ceremonies, concerts or festivals.Strong understanding of temporary event infrastructure, overlay and production delivery.Experience managing suppliers, contractors and multiple workstreams simultaneously.Strong project management and organisational skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a large multidisciplinary team.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Willingness to work on-site and extended hours when required during the event build and live event period.Must be available from approximately one week before the event through 5 February 2027.Ideal BackgroundMajor international sporting eventsStadium and arena eventsCeremonies and opening/closing eventsLarge-scale concerts and festivalsTemporary event infrastructure and overlayEvent production and site deliveryVenue transformation and event readiness
