Production Manager

Production Manager - Packaging Manufacturing - TexasIrving Knight are partnered with a large Packaging Manufacturing organisation, seeking a new Production Manager for their 100 person facility in Texas.You will be tasted to lead manufacturing operations within the plant, ensuring that production goals are hit and safety and quality targets are adhered to.This is a hands-on leadership role, managing production teams multiple shifts and working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning and Warehouse functions to optimise plant performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day production activities across the facility.Ensure production plans are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.Manage, coach and develop production supervisors, team leaders and operators.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, risk assessments and relevant legislation.Monitor key performance indicators, including output, waste, downtime, efficiency, labour utilisation and on-time delivery.Requirements5+ years of Packaging industry experience - product type is open.Proven experience in a production management leadership role.Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM or 5S.Proven experience driving improvements in production levels, safety, qualityIf this role is of interest please apply directly or email me at Henry.Spooner@irvingknight.com
