Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.We are seeking a Production Manager to work at one of our facilities. INX's location makes the ink on 100% of all beer and beverage cans manufactured in the United States. As Production Manager you will be responsible for:Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectationsIncreasing production, assets capacity & flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs & maintaining current quality standardsBeing responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shippingAllocating resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal resultsImplementing strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focusMonitoring operations and trigger corrective actionsEncouraging a trusting relationship within workgroup and promote cross-functionality between all departmentsDeveloping systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assetsStaying up-to-date with latest production management best practices and conceptsBeing committed/involved in the (TPM) Total Productive Maintenance System and Processes as a TPM Pillar CoordinatorCollecting and analyze data to find places of waste or overtimeAddressing employees’ issues or grievancesSupervising Production dept. employees and coordinates employee schedulesDirecting the development of new and improved methods, tools, equipment and proceduresAssessing customer quality complaints and quality reports as it pertains to productionWorking with department supervisors to develop solutions for problems & improve Production efficienciesQualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:Have 5 or more years of management or supervisory experience in manufacturingHave manufacturing, warehouse and supervisory/managerial experienceDemonstrate mechanical skills and knowledge of Production processesHave excellent math skills, as well as oral, written, reading and comprehension skills in order to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsDemonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skillsShow prior experience leading, coaching, and developing a team and delivering performance metrics Demonstrate strong skills, knowledge, and capability in Manufacturing principles such as OEE, Lean, or TPMIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:Have an bachelor degree or equivalent from a 4-year college preferably in Engineering or ManagementSAP S/4 Hana ExperienceLean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma experienceAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groupsManufacturing Program Planning and Coordination knowledgeLiquid (Ink) Manufacturing knowledgeLeadership experience in a production or manufacturing environmentExperience with Inventory ControlExperience with Change ManagementPrevious experience within the Ink IndustryAdditional InformationWe offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
