We are currently in a high-growth phase, scaling our operations, increasing our production capacity, and professionalizing our processes to meet international CE,UL Marks and ISO standards.The Mission (Your Strategic Impact):We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on Production Manager to overhaul our manufacturing workflow. Your primary objective is to shift our production system from a traditional "Make-to-Order" (MTO) model to a "Make-to-Stock" (MTS) model. This strategic pivot will allow us to reduce delivery lead times from 21 days to immediate fulfillment via a robust strategic inventory, directly fueling our international expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor monthly/weekly production schedules to ensure a continuous flow of finished goods into strategic inventory.- Operations Management: Directly oversee the entire fabrication & finishing two floors, including shearing, bending, argon welding, and final assembly lines, ensuring maximum efficiency.- Inventory & Procurement Coordination: Manage raw material inventory levels (stainless steel grades and gauges) and coordinate with procurement to set accurate reorder points, ensuring zero production stoppages.- Quality Assurance: Enforce rigorous finishing and polishing standards to meet stringent international export specifications (CE Mark) and major QSR chain requirements.- Maintenance Engineering: Design and implement a robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) system for all machinery to minimize unplanned downtime and prolong equipment life.- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and upskill a diverse team of supervisors, technicians, and production workers to boost overall labor productivity.- Cost Optimization: Continuously analyze and reduce waste (Waste Management) and production costs while strictly maintaining product quality and safety standards.Qualifications & Requirements:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in (Production, Mechanical, or Mechatronics) Engineering.- Experience: - 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in metal fabrication and heavy manufacturing. - Minimum 3 years in a senior supervisory role (Production Manager or Head of Production). - Mandatory: Proven, verifiable experience specifically within Stainless Steel manufacturing, light metals fabrication, or commercial kitchen equipment production. - Strong Plus: Familiarity with the technical specifications required by major QSR chains.Technical Competencies:- Expert proficiency in reading and analyzing engineering drawings (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).- Deep knowledge of stainless steel properties (types, gauges, argon welding techniques, and finishing).- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a significant advantage).- Strong command of inventory management techniques (Setting reorder points, ABC analysis).- Solid understanding of Quality & Safety standards (ISO 9001).- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, data analysis, and KPI tracking.Leadership & Soft Skills:- A firm, decisive, and commanding leadership personality capable of directing factory floor workers with authority and respect.- Exceptional technical problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, high-stakes operational decisions.- Ability to thrive under pressure and strictly adhere to inventory fulfillment deadlines.- Strong alignment with management policies and seamless cross-functional coordination with the International Business Development and Sales teams.Work Schedule:Saturday to Thursday (Standard Egyptian workweek).9am to 5pmWhy Join Line Steel?- Strategic Role: You aren't just maintaining the status quo; you are building the factory of the future.- International Exposure: Your work will directly impact products exported world wide.- Growth Phase: Join a company that is investing heavily in its people, systems, and machinery.How to Apply:Interested and qualified candidates are invited to submit their updated CV (PDF format) via email with the subject line: "Production Manager Application – [Your Full Name]".Email: hr@line-steel.com
