This role oversees end-to-end production for events, including planning schedules, coordinating technical and logistical requirements, and managing production teams and vendors. The Production Manager ensures that all event elements are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in line with the creative vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising setup and teardown, monitoring quality standards, resolving operational issues, and maintaining clear communication with internal teams, clients, and suppliers. The role also involves cost control, resource allocation, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of production processes and workflows.Qualifications Proven experience in event production or live event management, including on-site execution and vendor coordination.Strong project management abilities, such as scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.Technical understanding of staging, lighting, audio-visual systems, and event logistics, with the ability to collaborate with specialized crews.Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to lead diverse teams under tight timelines.High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, especially in fast-paced, dynamic environments.Ability to work on-site during extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.Familiarity with health, safety, and compliance standards relevant to events and venues.Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Production, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience working in Dubai or the broader GCC region and knowledge of local suppliers and venues is an advantage.Proficiency with production planning tools, basic office software, and documentation for event workflows.
