Our operations include sheet production, printing, die-cutting, gluing, and customized packaging for regional and international clients.As the company grows, we continue to invest in our people, production systems, technology, and continuous-improvement capabilities.Role overviewMBCOIND is seeking an experienced, hands-on Production Manager to take responsibility for the daily operation of our manufacturing area.The successful candidate will ensure that production operates safely, smoothly, efficiently, and according to schedule. This position requires a practical leader who is comfortable working directly on the production floor, developing teams, solving operational problems, and establishing reliable systems for safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost control.Experience in corrugated packaging and flexographic printing is strongly preferred.Key responsibilitiesOversee daily production activities across sheet production, printing, die-cutting, gluing, and finishing operations.Prepare and execute production schedules according to customer orders, available capacity, manpower, materials, and delivery commitments.Ensure production targets are achieved safely, on time, and according to established quality requirements.Monitor output, machine utilization, downtime, waste, rework, quality defects, and on-time delivery.Establish clear production targets, shift handovers, reporting systems, and visual performance boards.Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors, operators, and support teams.Coordinate with maintenance to minimize breakdowns and strengthen preventive-maintenance practices.Work closely with quality, logistics, procurement, and sales to align production with customer requirements.Lead continuous-improvement activities using Kaizen, Lean manufacturing, 5S, standardized work, PDCA, root-cause analysis, and waste-reduction methods.Improve workflow, changeover times, material movement, production layout, and machine efficiency.Promote strong standards for safety, housekeeping, operational discipline, and product quality.Control overtime, material consumption, production costs, and operational waste.Provide management with accurate production reports, corrective actions, and improvement plans.QualificationsMinimum five years of production-management experience in corrugated packaging or a closely related industrial converting environment.Relevant experience may have been gained as a Production Manager or Assistant Production Manager.Candidates with 8–10 or more years of relevant manufacturing experience will be strongly preferred.Hands-on knowledge of corrugated-board production, flexographic printing, die-cutting, gluing, and related converting processes.Demonstrated experience implementing Kaizen, Lean manufacturing, 5S, standardized work, and structured problem-solving.Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, machine utilization, quality control, and waste reduction.Proven ability to lead supervisors, operators, and shift-based production teams.Experience with ERP or production-management systems and Microsoft Office.Strong leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related discipline. Substantial directly relevant experience may also be considered.Professional working proficiency in Arabic and English.Ability to work full-time on-site in 10th of Ramadan City.Compensation and benefitsCompensation and benefits will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, technical capabilities, interview assessment, and overall suitability for the position.
