STANDARD MH GROUP is looking for Production Manager- Cutting (Woven Factory)Job Description / ResponsibilityDevelop and execute daily/weekly cutting plans in coordination with Planning/PPC based on the production loading plan and fabric availability.Ensure timely and accurate cut-panel supply to meet daily sewing production requirements and support 34 sewing lines.Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure pre-production sample evaluation, quality requirements and technical approvals are completed before bulk cutting.Coordinate with Production, QA/QC and Stores to ensure fabric availability, quality, shade, lot, defects and shortages are resolved before bulk cutting.Review and verify patterns, markers, fabric continuity cards and technical specifications before commencing bulk cutting.Ensure accurate and timely bundle ticket preparation, numbering and bundling in coordination with IE and the relevant teams.Provide strong technical leadership and product support to Cutting Supervisors and ensure adherence to buyer and factory specifications.Lead, guide and monitor Cutting Supervisors to achieve production, quality, productivity and efficiency targets.Monitor daily cutting performance, identify potential production shortfalls and take timely corrective and preventive actions.Coordinate with Sewing and Production teams to resolve issues related to fabric shortage, damaged panels, cutting defects, shade variation and missing components.Optimize manpower, machine capacity and workflow to maximize cutting productivity and ensure uninterrupted sewing input.Monitor and control fabric utilization, cutting wastage, re-cut and operational losses to achieve cost targets.Prepare and submit daily production and concern reports to management, highlighting risks, shortages and required actions.Ensure effective discipline, welfare, safety and performance management of Cutting Department employees and maintain a positive working environment.Drive continuous improvement and technical problem-solving to improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency and overall cutting performance.Perform any other job-related responsibilities assigned by management.Educational RequirementsBachelor/HonorsSkills Required: Production, production management (Cutting), Communication, Leadership, Cutting planning, Problem solving and decision makingExperience Requirements10 to 12 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):GarmentsAdditional RequirementsExperience in managing/supporting 35+ sewing lines will be preferred.Minimum 4 years experience in a Managerial roleJob LocationGazipur
