Job Description – Production ManagerIndustry: Events & ExhibitionsKey ResponsibilitiesWorkshop ManagementManage daily workshop operations, production schedules, and fabrication of exhibition stands, booths, stages, and event structures.Supervise carpenters, painters, welders, technicians, and laborers.Ensure quality standards, timely delivery, budget control, and proper inventory management.Labor Hiring & ManagementHire and allocate skilled and unskilled labor according to project requirements.Manage attendance, working hours, overtime, and manpower suppliers.Quotations & Cost EstimationPrepare quotations, BOQs, and cost estimates for materials, labor, fabrication, transportation, and installation.Negotiate supplier rates and monitor project budgets and expenses.Logistics & TransportationArrange transportation, deliveries, loading, unloading, and material collection.Manage delivery schedules and the return and storage of materials after dismantling.Production Planning & ExecutionReview project briefs, technical drawings, floor plans, and 3D designs.Plan production timelines, manpower requirements, and coordinate multiple projects to ensure timely completion.Procurement & Supplier ManagementSource materials and equipment, negotiate prices, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and material quality.Installation & DismantlingSupervise on-site installation and dismantling of exhibition stands and event structures.Coordinate site workers, venue access, permits, schedules, and final quality checks.Safety & Quality ControlEnsure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of safety equipment.Maintain production quality and finishing standards.Reporting & CoordinationReport production progress, labor, material usage, inventory, costs, and budget variations to management.Coordinate with project managers, designers, suppliers, and other departments for smooth project execution.
