Sterling Styles Limited is looking for Production Manager (Sewing) - Denim ExpertJob Description / ResponsibilityWe are a globally recognized Denim and Woven Top & Bottom garments manufacturer, seeking a Production Manager (Sewing) – Denim Expert. The ideal candidate is dynamic, proactive, and results-driven, with the experience and initiative to ensure top-quality production and operational excellence. He needs to oversee the following responsibilities:Achieve daily and monthly production targets while ensuring full compliance with buyer quality standards.Plan, direct, and coordinate cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing operations in line with the approved production schedule.Prepare and communicate work schedules to production teams to meet production objectives efficiently.Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize productivity and minimize cost.Drive 100% capacity utilization and lead production teams effectively through strong floor-level control.Monitor production flow from line feeding and layout planning through packing to ensure on-time shipment.Track defined KPIs, analyze production performance, and take timely corrective actions where required.Resolve operational and technical production issues to maintain a smooth workflow and product quality.Ensure final products fully comply with buyer specifications and quality requirements.Implement inventory control, waste reduction, and cost-saving initiatives across production processes.Reduce production losses including rejection, alteration, over-cutting, over-production, and excess overtime.Maintain sound knowledge of modern garment machinery, automation, and production process improvements.Identify training and skill development needs to enhance team efficiency and overall production standards.Prepare and submit production-related reports covering cost, maintenance, consumption, stock, manpower, quality, and safety.Ensure compliance with basic social compliance and workplace safety requirements.Perform any other duties assigned as required.Educational RequirementsSSCHSCBachelor of Arts (BA)Skills Required: Floor/ Line Management, Production Management (Sewing), Housekeeping, Line balancing, Manpower management, Problem solving and decision making, Energetic and self-motivated, Quality Control, Well disciplined and productivity focusedExperience Requirements8 to 12 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):GarmentsAdditional RequirementsCandidates with strong experience in Woven Garments (Denim) will be preferred.Experience working with H&M, Zara, Gap, Target, Next, Pull & Bear, Primark, American Eagle, M&S, etc. will be highly appreciated.Should be able to understand English and communicate in English when needed.Must be able to handle the tight production schedules and active work pressures on assigned lines.Must be able to lead the team and the workers positively and counsel them as needed.Job LocationDhaka (Ashulia)
