EDMP is hiring: Production ManagerDepartment: OperationEmployment Type: Permanent | Full-Time | On-SiteLocation: JAFZA, Dubai, UAEReporting To: COO / Plant Head Job PurposeLead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations for Smart Electricity, Water, and Gas Meters, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality, and on-time production. Own the complete manufacturing process from SMT through finished goods dispatch while driving productivity, quality, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end production operations, including SMT, PCBA, Assembly, Calibration, Testing, Inspection, Packing, and Finished Goods. Deliver production targets while ensuring on-time delivery and customer commitments. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and customer requirements. Drive manufacturing excellence through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, OEE, and continuous improvement initiatives. Optimize manpower, production capacity, equipment utilization, and line balancing. Manage production planning, material flow, WIP, and inventory in coordination with PPC, Warehouse, Procurement, and Supply Chain. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams. Ensure equipment readiness through preventive maintenance and process stability. Monitor manufacturing KPIs and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve performance. Lead, coach, train, and develop production teams while driving a high-performance culture. Support customer audits, New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, and production ramp-up activities. Key KPIs Production Plan Achievement On-Time Delivery (OTD) First Pass Yield (FPY) Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Productivity & Labor Efficiency Scrap & Rework Reduction Cost per Unit Inventory Accuracy Customer Complaints Safety Performance (Zero Lost Time Incidents) Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. 10+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a Production Manager or similar leadership role. Mandatory experience in Smart Meter manufacturing (Electricity, Water, or Gas Meters). Strong hands-on experience with SMT, PCBA, electronic assembly, calibration, testing, and high-volume manufacturing. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, IPC standards, ISO 9001, and ERP/MES systems. Experience managing production planning, capacity planning, and manufacturing KPIs. Experience working in multicultural manufacturing environments.
