Power the Future of Waste: Join Us as a Production Operator.Location: HorshamSalary: £31,493.28 - £33,000.24 per annum (£14.42 - £15.11 per hour), depending on experience and skills.Hours of work: 42 hours per week Monday - Friday.Early / Late shift with 1 Saturday in 4No cover shifts!A quick look at the role.Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for conducting operational tasks at a Mechanical Biological Treatment facility. This role supports the 24/7 operation of the plant through the execution of Standard Operating Procedures, housekeeping activities, and basic maintenance tasks, all in compliance with site Health and Safety rules and Company policies.The Production Operator will also have opportunities for career development within the West Sussex operation.Your Core Responsibilities.Daily monitoring of the process plant, reporting any abnormalities to the SCADA Operator or Shift SupervisorPerform housekeeping activities across all site areasConduct basic maintenance and cleaning tasks on fixed process plant under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and Electrical/Mechanical TechniciansExecute tasks according to Standard Operating ProceduresRegularly inspect site infrastructureEnsure the safety of self and others in accordance with health and safety legislation, Company procedures, and toolbox talks.
