To support its continuous growth and deliver innovative solutions and services to customers worldwide, TOLON is expanding its global distribution and sales network.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Production Planning Engineer with strong analytical thinking skills, a results-oriented mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement to manage the planning, coordination, and optimization of production operations.The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing all planning processes, from demand forecasting and master production scheduling to capacity planning, material planning, and inventory optimization.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and update the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in line with customer demand, sales forecasts, and operational objectives.Manage production planning and scheduling activities to ensure optimal utilization of production resources.Oversee Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and ensure material availability and continuity.Conduct short, medium, and long-term capacity planning, perform bottleneck analyses, and implement corrective action plans.Lead demand forecasting activities and develop initiatives to improve forecast accuracy.Manage inventory control and optimization to maintain target stock levels.Administer planning data through the IFS ERP system and ensure its effective utilization.Establish, analyze, monitor, and report operational KPIs.Collaborate closely with production, procurement, logistics, and sales teams to improve planning effectiveness.Prepare data analyses and reports to support decision-making processes.Identify operational risks and conduct risk analysis and scenario planning studies.Take an active role in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and coordinate relevant meetings.Support budgeting and cost management activities related to production planning.Lead process improvement and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Conduct root cause analyses of operational issues and develop sustainable solutions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of production planning and scheduling, MRP, MPS, and capacity planning.Experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, and inventory optimization processes.Proficiency in the IFS ERP system is preferred.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong capabilities in data analysis, reporting, and performance management.Experience in developing and monitoring KPIs.Good understanding of S&OP processes.Knowledge of budgeting and cost analysis.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Experience participating in process improvement and digital transformation projects.Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.Results-oriented, organized, and disciplined approach to work.
