Production Planning Engineer

Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 600 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities and 4 factories.We are looking for 'Production and Planning Engineer' with the qualifications below;QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline,2–5 years of experience in production or production planning in a manufacturing environment,Experience in production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing operations,Experience in production organization, efficiency, and continuous improvement studies,Good command of English, both written and verbal,Turkish nationality or candidates who can speak Turkish.Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel,Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred,Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks is preferred,Knowledge of production processes, capacity planning, and performance monitoring,Knowledge of Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety systems,Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills,Result-oriented, proactive, and strong in follow-up,Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced manufacturing environment,This position is based in UAQ, UAE. Candidates should be currently residing in the UAE or be willing to relocate to UAQ.JOB DESCRIPTIONPlanning material requirements based on production and project needs to ensure smooth and timely procurement processes.Monitoring supplier performance, inventory levels, and order processes via ERP/MRP systems to enhance operational efficiency.Managing material planning activities in coordination with purchasing and logistics teams, based on demand forecasts, inventory turnover rates, and cost analyses.Facilitating communication and information flow among production, warehouse, and supply chain units to minimize planning errors.Analyzing supply risks and taking necessary actions regarding alternative sourcing, cost optimization, and operational continuity.Accurately and timely managing purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory updates to support adherence to project completion dates.Managing local procurement processes.Monitoring critical inventory levels for production and coordinating supply processes with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted and efficient production operations.JOB LOCATION: Umm Al Quwain, UAE
