Production Shift Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting a global leading manufacturer in their search for a Production Shift Manager to join their facility in Lincoln.You'll take ownership of shift-level operations across the department, ensuring production schedules are met and your team is engaged, developed, and performing at their best. You'll be hands-on in driving continuous improvement, championing quality, and maintaining a safe working environment.Hours: Mornings/nights/afters rotational, Monday - FridayKey Responsibilities of the Production Shift Manager include:Manage day-to-day operations on shift to meet production plans and customer delivery targetsLead and develop your team including training, performance & absence managementDrive quality standards, scrap reduction, and rework eliminationChampion safety compliance, H&S audits, and a culture of safe working practicesLead continuous improvement and problem-solving activities across the departmentMaintain clear communication across shifts and service departmentsManage resources, overtime, and capacity to meet business requirementsEnsure 6S standards are achieved and sustainedWe’re looking for experienced Production Leaders with the following skills & experience:Previous leadership experience within manufacturing, ideally heavy industryKnowledge of modern manufacturing techniques, quality systems, and CI methodologiesStrong leadership skills - able to motivate, coach, and develop a shift-based teamCompetent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)For further details please contact Emma Bartholomew at Elevation Recruitment Group directly.
