Production Shift Supervisor – Automotive Chassis Manufacturing

Production Shift Supervisor SHAC Serbia (Automotive Chassis Manufacturing)Automotive Industry (Chassis Manufacturing - Kać, Novi Sad)Leading and supervising production operations across an entire shift within a high-volume chassis automotive manufacturing environment.Managing production teams, allocating resources, and ensuring achievement of production targets, quality requirements, and safety standards.Monitoring production flow, identifying operational issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure continuous production.Coordinating welding, stamping, and waxing processes in collaboration with process engineers.Analyzing KPIs related to productivity, quality, downtime, and scrap, while preparing shift performance reports.Working closely with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and Engineering teams to resolve operational and technical challenges.Ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 requirements, internal procedures, work instructions, and health & safety regulations.Supporting employee training, skills development, workforce planning, and job rotation programs.Driving continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.Making critical operational decisions and responding effectively to production stoppages, quality deviations, and emergency situations.Qualifications & ExpertiseBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.5+ years of leadership experience in automotive manufacturing and production environments.Strong knowledge of quality standards and quality assurance systems, including IATF 16949 and ISO standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems such as SAP, MES, and similar ERP platforms.Advanced English language proficiency.Experience working in shift-based and night-shift production operations.Strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills.Proven ability to make decisions and solve operational problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Analytical mindset with a strong focus on performance, efficiency, and results.Excellent communication and teamwork skills across cross-functional departments.Proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.Key Skills: Team Leadership • Production Management • Automotive Manufacturing • Lean Manufacturing • Kaizen • 5S • IATF 16949 • Quality Management • KPI Analysis • Continuous Improvement • Health & Safety • Process Optimization • SAP • MES
