Production Supervisor

Location: Bommasandra, BangaloreDepartment: ProductionEmployment Type: Full-timeJob SummaryWe are looking for a Production Supervisor to independently supervise and coordinate day-to-day manufacturing operations at our Bangalore unit.The role involves managing Air Bubble Film manufacturing and EPE Foam fabrication operations, ensuring production targets, product quality, manpower productivity, machine utilization, safety and timely completion of customer orders.Roles & Responsibilities • Plan and supervise daily production based on customer orders and delivery schedules. • Supervise Air Bubble Film manufacturing/extrusion operations. • Supervise EPE Foam cutting, bonding, fabrication and pouch-making operations. • Allocate operators and helpers according to daily production requirements. • Monitor production output against daily and monthly targets. • Monitor Air Bubble product parameters such as GSM, width, bubble formation and roll quality. • Ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications and quality requirements. • Monitor raw material consumption, wastage, rejection and scrap generation. • Improve productivity and reduce manufacturing wastage. • Monitor machine utilization, downtime and production efficiency. • Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance. • Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Planning and Dispatch for smooth order execution. • Maintain daily production reports, material consumption records, rejection records and shift reports. • Ensure proper identification and traceability of materials and finished goods. • Implement and maintain 5S, workplace safety and ISO 9001 procedures. • Train and supervise machine operators and production helpers. • Identify production and quality issues and initiate corrective actions. • Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline across the production area. • Provide regular production updates to management.
