This individual will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations across the production floor, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and inventory functions while helping implement processes and organization as the company continues to grow.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting employees, improving processes, and ensuring operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment and can balance operational oversight with hands-on support when needed.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesOversee daily production floor operations to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on scheduleCoordinate shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activitiesVerify incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring deliveries match packing slips and customer requirementsManage inventory levels of powder coatings, packaging materials, and other production suppliesMonitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure production continuityOrganize warehouse storage areas and implement processes to improve efficiency and workflowSupport quality control efforts by ensuring jobs are completed according to customer requirements and specificationsSupervise and coordinate floor employees, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and team members remain productiveAssist on the production line when required, including supporting powder coating and packaging operationsCreate packing slips, manage invoices, and reconcile deliveries using QuickBooksCollaborate closely with operations leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellenceEvaluate current warehouse and production processes and make recommendations for increased efficiencySupport future hiring and onboarding efforts as the company expands its production teamDevelop customer-facing relationships over time by supporting order fulfillment and service delivery initiativesMust-Have Qualifications3+ years of experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing, or operations leadership roleExperience coordinating shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment activitiesStrong understanding of warehouse organization, inventory control, and logistics processesExperience supervising or leading hourly production or warehouse employeesHands-on leadership style with the ability to work alongside the team when requiredExperience using QuickBooks or similar systems for invoicing, packing slips, and order managementStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesNice-to-Have QualificationsPrevious experience within a powder coating, metal finishing, manufacturing, or industrial environmentUnderstanding of powder coating processes, materials, and quality control standardsExperience building teams, implementing processes, and improving operational efficiencyExperience working in a fast-paced production facilityThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on operations professional who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and helping build a high-performing production team in a growing manufacturing environment.
