QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.Experience: 2 to 5 years of manufacturing experience, including proven experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team lead role.Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, enterprise management software (such as SAP), and manufacturing execution systems.Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing process flows, continuous improvement methodologies, and personnel management principles.Key Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, clear decision-making, conflict resolution, and the ability to foster strong team collaboration.Certifications: Ability to obtain job-related certifications or licenses as required during employment.Role Overview: Frontline leadership position responsible for directing daily manufacturing operations, leading team performance, enforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring operational efficiency.Core Responsibilities1. Production Management & SchedulingDirect daily workflow, assign tasks, and set operational priorities to hit output goals.Oversee end-to-end manufacturing sequences (receiving, processing, mixing, packaging, and storage).Coordinate schedules and stage raw materials and packaging to align with demand.Monitor equipment performance, enforce cleaning protocols, and arrange prompt repairs for downtime.2. People Leadership & Team DevelopmentCoach, mentor, and provide continuous feedback and performance evaluations.Manage timekeeping, shift handoffs, team meetings, transfers, and promotions.Enforce workplace policies and administer discipline consistently and fairly.Address grievances in partnership with HR and foster a productive, collaborative culture.3. Safety, Quality & ComplianceEnforce all safety protocols, conduct incident investigations, and submit timely reporting.Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, quality systems, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Oversee sanitation programs and continuous sanitary maintenance across production areas.4. Continuous Improvement & Cost ControlMonitor operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize process flow.Drive cost-containment initiatives and eliminate operational waste.
