قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob SummaryResponsible for effective utilisation of human resources and technology to ensure the receiving andstorage of coil raw material, coordinating the flow of raw material needs and for completion of workorders, on time, safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.Job DutiesComplete written reports.Supervise hourly employees, including explanation and enforcement of company policies.Coordinate staff training, including operational training, either direct or cross, safety, and quality training.Ensure proper receiving, identification, and storage of raw material.Expedite truck traffic and coordinate flow of raw material needs with scheduled orders.Ensure optimal staging of steel, on-time completion of work orders, and expedite orders to ensure completion when necessary.Ensure product is produced consistently to required quality standards, given a variable set of raw material characteristics and machine capabilities.Coordinate with maintenance about required technology and work environment repairs and improvements.Liaise with other supervisors on status of orders and other relevant information.May collect and track packaging line productivity information, coordinate scrap loads,Perform weekly fuel reconciliation, maintain safety supplies, coordinate disposition of customer returns with appropriate quality and claims personnel, or other special assignments as directed by plant management.Recommend improvements to senior management.Follow the supervisor Code of Conduct.Fulfil responsibilities according to company principles, including safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.Perform other duties as required.Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Demonstrated leadership qualities, including good communication, team building andproblem solving skills.Professional and courteous attitude in all working relationships.Successful completion of on-the-job training or equivalent experience.Previous supervisory experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing or steel manufacturing environment is required.Experience supervising a unionized workforce is required.
