Production Supervisor

FinPan Inc. is hiring a Batch Plant Production Supervisor for our concrete backerboard plant in Hamilton, Ohio. FinPan is a third generation family owned business in operation since 1975. Our founder invented the continuous manufacturing process that brought concrete backerboard to the tile and flooring industry.  Education and ExperienceMinimum Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field. Work Experience: 1 to 5+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including 1 to 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.  Experience with concrete in a batch plant setting is preferred. Core Skills and CompetenciesLeadership & Coaching: Ability to direct, train, motivate, and mentor floor employees to hit daily performance targets.Safety Compliance: Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, lockout/tagout protocols, and general workplace safety enforcement. Problem-Solving: Capability to troubleshoot equipment downtime, analyze workflow bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions quickly. Technical & Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with manufacturing systems like ERP, MES, or inventory tracking software. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to coordinate across shifts, conduct team meetings, and report metrics to plant managers.  Preferred CertificationsLean / Six Sigma: Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma demonstrate expertise in reducing waste and process optimization.Specialized Credentials: Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or OSHA safety certifications can give candidates a competitive edge.
