We are passionate about delivering quality fresh produce to customers across the UK and beyond.We are currently looking for a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to join our Fresh Business Unit on a permanent backshift basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor or team leader looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a production team to ensure daily targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Working closely with Production Managers and other departments, you will drive performance, support employee development, and ensure all processes are carried out in line with food safety, quality, and health & safety requirements.RequirementsLead, motivate and develop a team of production operativesEnsure production plans and targets are achievedMonitor staffing levels and allocate resources effectivelyMaintain high standards of food safety, quality, and GMPDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the shiftConduct team briefings and performance discussionsEnsure health & safety procedures are followed at all timesWork collaboratively with Engineering, QA, Warehouse, and Planning teamsMonitor KPIs and take corrective action where requiredSupport training and onboarding of new team membersPrevious supervisory experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, production, or a similar fast-paced environmentCurrent Counterbalance Forklift Truck licenceStrong people management and communication skillsAbility to lead by example and drive team performanceGood problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesKnowledge of food safety and health & safety standardsComfortable working in a target-driven environmentFlexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing business needsBenefitsCompetitive hourly rate plus backshift allowancePermanent, full-time positionOpportunities for career progression within a growing businessTraining and development opportunitiesEmployee benefits packageA supportive and collaborative working environmentApply TodayIf you're an ambitious supervisor who enjoys leading teams, improving performance, and making a real impact within a production environment, we'd love to hear from you.Join Albert Bartlett and help us deliver quality fresh produce to customers across the UK.
