Production Support Specialist

Position: Production Support EngineerExperience: 6+ YearsIndustry: BFSI / Capital Markets / NBFCLocation: ChennaiImmediate to max 15 Days Joiners Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Production Support Engineer with experience in supporting business-critical applications in the BFSI, Capital Markets, or NBFC domain.The candidate should have hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environments and Shell Scripting and be comfortable handling production issues, monitoring applications, troubleshooting, and coordinating with technical teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide L1/L2 Production Support for critical applications.Monitor applications, servers, jobs, and batch processes.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and incidents.Work on Linux/Unix systems for application monitoring and troubleshooting.Write and execute Shell Scripts for automation, monitoring, and routine activities.Analyze application logs and identify the root cause of issues.Perform incident management and ensure timely resolution of production issues.Coordinate with Development, Database, Infrastructure, and other technical teams.Support deployments, releases, and post-release monitoring.Prepare incident reports and maintain production support documentation.Work in rotational shifts or on-call support, if required.Required SkillsProduction/Application Support experience.Strong hands-on experience with Linux / Unix.Good knowledge of Shell Scripting.Application monitoring and troubleshooting.Log analysis and issue resolution.Basic knowledge of SQL/Database.Incident and problem management.Good communication and coordination skills.Experience in BFSI / Capital Markets / NBFC is preferred.Interested candidate can share their Updated CV with cv.hr@evokehr.com
