Production Team Lead – Manufacturing Operations

We are looking for a Production Team Lead to coordinate the day-to-day activities of our Production team in Cork. This is a hands-on coordination and leadership role supporting a team of approximately 15 employees.You will be responsible for organizing the daily production plan, communicating priorities to the team, monitoring orders through production and shipping, and helping ensure customer delivery targets are met.What You’ll DoCoordinate daily production activities for a team of approximately 15 employees.Review ERP/SAP information and organize daily build and shipping priorities.Communicate the daily production plan and priorities to the team.Monitor order progress and help ensure on-time delivery targets are achieved.Identify resource or capacity issues that could impact customer deliveries and escalate them to the Production Supervisor.Coordinate urgent customer requests and priority “must-ship” orders.Work with other departments to ensure orders are validated, packed, and shipped correctly.Track production KPIs and performance metrics.Follow up on production issues and interruptions to ensure they are resolved quickly.Lead Production updates during daily stand-up meetings.Maintain Shop Orders and Pick Lists in line with production requirements.Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve processes.Maintain high housekeeping, Health & Safety, and 5S standards across the production area.Escalate process deviations or performance issues to the Production Supervisor.What We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.Previous experience leading, coordinating, or supervising a team.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.Comfortable working with production targets, KPIs, and customer delivery deadlines.Strong communication skills and confidence coordinating across different departments.Good computer literacy.Experience with the following would be particularly valuable:SAP or another ERP systemMicrosoft ExcelPower BIMicrosoft WordElectronics manufacturing or an electronics-related qualification is advantageous but not required.Working HoursThis role is 100% onsite.Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMFriday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PMWeekend overtime may be required depending on production volumes and business needs. Historically, weekend overtime has been required approximately every second week during periods of high order volume.
