Production Technician

Al Watania For Industries is Hiring: Production TechnicianWe are looking for a hands-on Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role covers Plastic, CAN Making (Steel & Metal), and Paper products.Key responsibilities:Set up, adjust, and change over production machines and toolingPerform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns on production linesMonitor machine performance and product quality, and correct deviations quicklySupport operators during startups, trial runs, and production issuesKeep maintenance and production records accurate and up to dateFollow safety procedures and housekeeping standards at all times

Requirements

1 to 3 years of hands-on experience as a technician in Plastic, CAN Making (Steel & Metal), or Paper manufacturing (mandatory)Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial MaintenanceAbility to read basic technical drawings and use hand and measuring toolsBasic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systemsWillingness to work shiftsPreferred:Experience with setups and changeovers on production linesKnowledge of preventive maintenance routines
