Role Description The Professional Development Courses Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The specialist is responsible for designing, updating, and coordinating professional development course offerings aligned with institutional standards and market needs. Daily tasks include conducting needs assessments, planning curricula, preparing course materials, and collaborating with faculty and external partners to ensure high-quality content delivery. The role involves monitoring course performance, collecting participant feedback, and implementing improvements to enhance learning outcomes. Additional responsibilities include supporting enrollment activities, providing guidance to participants, and maintaining accurate course documentation and reporting.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to conduct needs assessments, evaluate course effectiveness, and interpret data for continuous improvement.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, present course offerings, and support participants throughout the learning process.Candidates should possess Software Development and Programming skills to contribute to or oversee technical course content and ensure relevance to current industry practices.Candidates should possess Sales skills to support promotion of professional development programs, engage prospective participants, and help drive course enrollment.Relevant experience in course design, training, or professional learning in higher education or corporate environments.Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple programs and deadlines.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certifications in learning and development are an advantage.Familiarity with learning management systems and modern instructional methods is preferred.
