The company upholds professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and does not charge candidates any recruitment or placement fees.Role Description The Professor / Associate Professor – OBG (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) will provide high-quality academic instruction, clinical teaching, and mentorship to undergraduate and postgraduate medical learners in an on-site role based in Salem. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, conducting demonstrations, supervising clinical rotations, and guiding students in case discussions, seminars, and academic projects. The role also involves managing and overseeing obstetrics and gynaecology clinical services, participating in ward rounds, outpatient care, and operating theatre work in accordance with institutional protocols and regulatory standards. The faculty member will contribute to research, scholarly publications, and curriculum development, while actively participating in departmental meetings, academic committees, and quality improvement initiatives. This is a full-time position requiring consistent on-campus presence and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare and academic teams.QualificationsRecognized MBBS and MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from an accredited institution, with eligible registration with the relevant medical council.Prior experience as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor in OBG, with teaching and clinical exposure as per National Medical Commission (NMC) or equivalent regulatory guidelines.Demonstrated expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology clinical practice, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operative care.Proven ability to teach and mentor medical students and residents, including experience in bedside teaching, lectures, seminars, and academic assessments.Experience in research, publications in peer-reviewed journals, and participation in conferences, CME programs, and academic forums.Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills for working effectively with students, colleagues, and multidisciplinary hospital teams.Commitment to ethical clinical practice, student-centered teaching, and adherence to institutional and regulatory standards.Willingness to relocate to and work on-site in ; familiarity with regional healthcare needs and patient demographics is an advantage.Please share your resume with us on info@jjoisconsultants.in
