With a focus on digital innovation and international partnerships, UGD strives to be an open, socially responsible institution that creates knowledge, values, and future opportunities.Role Description The Professor role at Goce Delchev University of Štip is a full-time, on-site position based in Štip. The Professor will design and deliver undergraduate and/or graduate courses, develop curricula aligned with institutional standards, and ensure high-quality teaching and assessment. Daily responsibilities include lecturing, leading seminars and workshops, mentoring and advising students, supervising research projects and theses, and maintaining regular office hours. The Professor will engage in scholarly research, publish in relevant academic outlets, participate in conferences, and contribute to the development of international and European collaborations. Additional duties include participation in departmental and university committees, contribution to accreditation and quality assurance processes, and active engagement in community and outreach activities that support the University’s mission.Qualifications Advanced academic qualifications (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, with a strong record of teaching and research in higher education.Demonstrated experience in course design, curriculum development, and student-centered teaching methods, including use of digital learning tools.Proven research capabilities, including peer-reviewed publications, participation in research projects, and willingness to engage in international academic collaboration.Strong academic advising and mentoring skills, with the ability to support diverse student populations in their academic and professional development.Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Macedonian or willingness to learn is an asset.Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, contribute to faculty governance, and support institutional initiatives and partnerships (e.g., Erasmus+, ACE²-EU).Commitment to ethical conduct, inclusivity, social responsibility, and continuous professional development in teaching and research.
