The Professor will deliver undergraduate and/or graduate lectures, seminars, and tutorials, and design curricula and course materials aligned with departmental standards. Daily responsibilities include supervising student projects and theses, mentoring learners, assessing performance, and providing constructive feedback. The Professor will conduct and publish original research, seek external funding where appropriate, and participate in academic committees and departmental meetings. Additional duties may include contributing to accreditation activities, engaging in community and outreach initiatives, and supporting the university’s strategic goals in teaching, research, and service.Qualifications Advanced academic qualifications, typically a PhD in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.Demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education, including course design, classroom instruction, and student assessment.Strong research record with peer-reviewed publications and evidence of ongoing scholarly activity.Ability to mentor and supervise undergraduate and graduate students, including thesis and project guidance.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a diverse, multicultural academic environment.Experience participating in academic committees, program development, and institutional service is highly beneficial.Commitment to ethical academic practices, continuous professional development, and integration of innovative teaching methods.Proficiency in English for teaching and research; Arabic language skills are an asset.
