Its strong industry connections and committed faculty create an environment where students gain practical, research-informed knowledge and are prepared for global careers.Role Description The Professor – CSE will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality courses in Computer Science and Engineering, including lectures, tutorials, labs, and project guidance for undergraduate and postgraduate learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include curriculum development, preparing teaching materials, mentoring students, evaluating assignments and examinations, and supporting academic advising. The role also involves conducting impactful research, publishing in reputed journals and conferences, guiding student and doctoral research, and contributing to funded projects and collaborations. The Professor will participate in departmental and university committees, engage with industry partners, and support accreditation and quality assurance activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Amity University’s Ranchi campus.Qualifications Advanced academic qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline (Ph.D. strongly preferred), with a strong record of teaching and research.Expertise in core CSE areas such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, databases, computer networks, software engineering, or related emerging domains.Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, outcome-based education, and the use of modern pedagogical methods and educational technologies.Proven research profile with publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals or conferences and experience in supervising student projects or theses.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor diverse learners and collaborate effectively with academic and industry stakeholders.Experience with industry-focused projects, consultancy, or academic–industry partnerships is an advantage.Commitment to ethical conduct, student welfare, and contributing positively to a values-driven academic community.Prior experience in a professorial or equivalent academic role, and familiarity with national and international accreditation standards, will be beneficial.
