Personality development is supported by specialized classes, workshops, and activities like military training camps, cultivating confident and socially responsible leaders.Role Description The Professor of Clinical Psychology will provide high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including lecturing, leading seminars, supervising practicals, and guiding dissertations and research projects. The role includes designing and updating curricula in clinical psychology, integrating evidence-based practices, and aligning courses with current academic and professional standards. The professor will conduct and publish impactful research, seek research funding, and participate in academic collaborations within and outside the university. Responsibilities also include academic advising, mentoring students, contributing to departmental and university committees, and supporting outreach and community mental health initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Amity University Rajasthan in Jaipur.QualificationsDoctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.Strong record of university-level teaching in clinical psychology, with experience in lecturing, supervising theses, and managing classroom and clinical training activities.Demonstrated research experience with peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and engagement in funded or collaborative projects.Expertise in clinical assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy approaches, and ethical practice in mental health settings.Ability to design and update curriculum, develop learning materials, and integrate innovative teaching methodologies, including case-based and experiential learning.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering an inclusive academic environment.Experience in academic administration, participation in committees, and contribution to departmental development is highly desirable.Registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional or regulatory bodies in psychology (where applicable) is an advantage.Openness to interdisciplinary collaboration, community engagement, and involvement in outreach or mental health awareness programs.
