This full-time, on-site role includes designing and updating course curricula, supervising clinical practicum and internships, and mentoring students in academic, clinical, and research activities. The role involves conducting and publishing research in clinical psychology, guiding student research projects, and contributing to the development of new programs and academic initiatives in the department. The professor will participate in departmental and university committees, collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, and engage with professional and community partners to strengthen clinical training and outreach. Additional responsibilities include maintaining ethical standards in teaching and practice, staying current with developments in the field, and contributing to the university’s mission of values-based, industry-relevant education.Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and specialized expertise in Clinical Psychology, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions.Demonstrated experience in University Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to facilitate engaging, inclusive, and practice-oriented learning environments.Proficiency in Curriculum Development, including designing, revising, and aligning clinical psychology programs with current academic and professional standards.Proven Research skills, including developing research proposals, conducting empirical studies, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and supervising student research.Relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.Eligibility as per regulatory bodies’ norms (e.g., UGC and national professional councils) and a strong record of scholarly publications and conference presentations.Experience in clinical supervision, mental health service delivery, and collaboration with hospitals, clinics, or community organizations.Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, with commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and ethical professional practice.
