Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering lectures and seminars in clinical psychology, supervising student research and projects, mentoring learners at various levels, and contributing to curriculum enhancement aligned with current clinical and research practices. The role involves conducting independent and collaborative research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and participating in conferences and academic networks. The Associate Professor will also support departmental activities, contribute to accreditation and quality assurance processes, and engage in community and clinical outreach initiatives as appropriate.Qualifications Strong academic foundation in Psychology, with specialized expertise in Clinical Psychology and relevant professional training or licensure where applicable.Demonstrated experience in University Teaching and Teaching, including designing and delivering lectures, seminars, and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Proven capability in Curriculum Development, including creating, reviewing, and updating course content aligned with current clinical and research standards.Active engagement in Research, evidenced by publications in reputable journals, conference presentations, and the ability to secure or contribute to research funding.Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field from a recognized institution.Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to teach and mentor a diverse student body in a gender-neutral, inclusive manner.Experience with evidence-based clinical practices, ethical standards in psychology, and student supervision in research or practicum settings.Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, contribute to institutional initiatives, and support a high-quality, values-driven academic environment.
