Day-to-day activities include designing and updating course content, integrating current clinical psychology research into teaching, and ensuring alignment with institutional and accreditation standards. The role involves supervising student research projects and theses, engaging in independent and collaborative research, and contributing to publications and conferences. The professor will participate in academic governance, departmental meetings, curriculum planning, student advising, and community or clinical outreach initiatives as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Amity University’s campus in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with occasional travel to Ranchi or other campuses if required.Qualifications Strong academic and professional expertise in Psychology, with a clear focus on Clinical Psychology.Demonstrated experience in University Teaching and Teaching, including lectures, seminars, and supervision of student work.Proficiency in Curriculum Development, including designing, reviewing, and updating academic programs and course materials.Proven Research capabilities, including conducting empirical studies, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and guiding student research.Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field from a recognized institution.Relevant clinical experience, licensure or eligibility for licensure (as applicable), and familiarity with ethical guidelines in clinical practice.Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.Experience with outcome-based education, use of digital tools in teaching, and participation in academic administration or accreditation processes is an advantage.
