This role involves designing and delivering lectures, seminars, and clinical skills training for undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students, with a focus on clinical practice and evidence-based interventions. The professor will supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations, while actively engaging in independent and collaborative research in clinical psychology. Typical responsibilities include developing and updating curricula, mentoring students, participating in academic committees, and contributing to departmental planning and accreditation activities. The role also includes fostering partnerships with clinical and community settings, promoting ethical practice, and supporting the university’s mission of academic excellence and holistic student development.Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Clinical Psychology, with demonstrated expertise in theory, assessment, and intervention.Proven experience in University Teaching and Teaching, including lecturing, seminar facilitation, supervision, and student mentoring.Skills in Curriculum Development, including designing, revising, and implementing clinically focused and research-informed academic programs.Active engagement in Research, with a record of publications, funded projects, or applied clinical research in relevant areas.Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or closely related field from a recognized university.Clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy, with adherence to professional and ethical standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to teach diverse learners and collaborate across disciplines.Experience with outcome-based education, academic administration, and accreditation processes is an advantage.Commitment to student-centered learning, inclusivity, and using technology-enhanced teaching methods.Evidence of contribution to professional organizations, conferences, workshops, or community mental health initiatives is beneficial.
