Day-to-day duties include delivering lectures and seminars in clinical psychology, supervising practical training, mentoring learners, and guiding thesis and dissertation work at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The role involves designing and updating curricula, integrating current clinical and research developments, and contributing to accreditation and quality assurance activities. The professor will be expected to lead and participate in individual and collaborative research projects, publish in reputable journals, and secure external funding where possible. Additional responsibilities include participating in academic committees, contributing to community outreach and clinical services, and supporting the university’s mission of holistic, values-based education.Qualifications Candidates should possess advanced expertise in Psychology and Clinical Psychology, with strong theoretical and applied knowledge.Candidates should possess skills in University Teaching and Teaching, including experience with lectures, seminars, supervision, and learner mentoring.Candidates should possess experience in Curriculum Development, including designing, reviewing, and updating clinical psychology programs.Candidates should possess a proven track record in Research, including publications in peer-reviewed journals and participation in funded projects.Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology or closely related field from a recognized university.Relevant clinical experience, licensure or registration (where applicable), and familiarity with ethical standards in psychological practice.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural academic environment.Experience in academic administration, program coordination, or leadership roles in higher education is highly beneficial.
