The Professor of Finance will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate finance courses, using contemporary teaching methods and industry-relevant case studies. Responsibilities include supervising student projects and dissertations, guiding research initiatives, and contributing to curriculum development in finance and related disciplines. The role involves publishing research in reputable journals, participating in academic committees, and engaging with industry to enhance experiential learning opportunities. The professor will also mentor learners, support departmental activities, and contribute to the overall academic and institutional development of Amity University.QualificationsStrong expertise in Finance and Corporate Finance, with the ability to teach advanced topics and apply them to real-world business contexts.Solid grounding in Accounting, supporting interdisciplinary teaching and curriculum integration.Demonstrated Research capabilities, including a track record of publications, conference presentations, and funded projects.Relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Finance or a closely related field from a recognized institution.Prior experience in teaching at the university level, preferably in finance or business schools, with evidence of effective pedagogy.Ability to use modern instructional technologies, learning management systems, and data-driven teaching approaches.Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaborative skills, with a commitment to inclusive and learner-centered education.Industry exposure, consultancy experience, professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA), or involvement in executive education will be an advantage.
