This role requires actively leading department initiatives, mentoring faculty, and driving academic excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership & Department Management: Drive department vision, manage administrative operations, curate curricula, and guide faculty development to maintain world-class standards.Teaching & Curriculum Development: Deliver engaging, high-level courses across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, integrating contemporary legal theories and interdisciplinary practices.Research & Publication: Maintain a robust research pipeline, publishing in peer-reviewed, indexed journals (Scopus/UGC CARE), and securing external funding for research projects.Mentorship & Guidance: Supervise Ph.D. scholars, mentor students in moot court competitions, and facilitate career development pathways.Institutional Engagement: Build academic-industry partnerships, organize national and international conferences, and participate in academic council activities.Key Qualifications & RequirementsPh.D. in Law from a recognized university.Experience: Minimum of 10 to 12 years of post-Ph.D. teaching, research, or professional experience in a university or research environment.Academic Pedigree: An educational background featuring degrees earned from institutes of national/international repute (e.g., NLUs, top central/state universities, or equivalent premier global institutions) is strongly preferred.Research Track Record: A distinguished publication portfolio in top-tier journals, with active participation in impactful legal research projects.Administrative Capabilities: Proven track record in department management, curriculum planning, or academic leadership roles.
