Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Professor of Law role based at Amity University’s Punjab campus. The Professor of Law will design and deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials across core and specialized areas of law, ensuring rigorous and engaging learning experiences. Responsibilities include supervising student research, guiding dissertations and theses, and mentoring learners on academic and professional development. The role involves conducting and publishing high-quality legal research, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in academic committees and institutional initiatives. The professor will also engage with industry, professional bodies, and regulatory authorities to strengthen the school’s academic reputation and practical relevance.QualificationsStrong foundational knowledge in Law, with expertise in areas such as Constitutional Law and Criminal Law.Demonstrated proficiency in Teaching, including curriculum design, assessment methods, and student mentoring.Advanced Research skills, including legal analysis, academic writing, and publication in peer-reviewed journals.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective classroom and collegial engagement.Recognized academic qualifications such as a PhD or equivalent in Law, with a record of scholarly contributions.Experience in supervising postgraduate research and participating in academic or professional committees.Ability to collaborate across disciplines and engage with industry, legal practitioners, and regulatory bodies.Commitment to ethical practice, inclusive education, and continuous professional development.
