Employment Type: Full-timeJob SummaryAmity University Kolkata is seeking an experienced and academically accomplished Professor of Law to join its Law School.

The candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, academic leadership, and contributing to the overall development of the department.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver lectures and conduct classes in assigned areas of law.Develop and update course content, lesson plans, and teaching materials.Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities.Conduct quality research and publish papers in reputed journals.Supervise doctoral and postgraduate research scholars, as applicable.Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental activities.Organize seminars, conferences, workshops, and guest lectures.Participate in institutional committees and other academic responsibilities.Eligibility & QualificationsPh.D. in Law from a recognized university.Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent.Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.Minimum 10 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized university or institution, as applicable to the Professor position.Strong academic record with research publications in reputed journals.Candidates with academic leadership, research supervision, and relevant professional experience will be preferred.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of legal concepts and teaching methodologies.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Research, analytical, and academic writing skills.Ability to mentor students and contribute to institutional development.Proficiency in using digital teaching and learning tools.Application ProcessInterested candidates are invited to submit their updated CV along with relevant academic and professional credentials for consideration.Amity University Kolkata is an equal opportunity employer.
