Location: Washington, DCJob Type: Full-timeTravel: NoneSalary: $113,000–$188,000 per yearPosition OverviewA government consulting organization is seeking a Program Analyst – Data & Analytics to support a federal agency’s analytical and program-management mission.The position focuses on transforming complex program, operational, and performance data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.

The successful candidate will develop dashboards, data visualizations, analytical reports, and executive-level reporting products.This role will also involve collaborating with program managers, subject-matter experts, and data stewards to establish requirements, validate metrics, maintain data quality, and improve data-driven decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop dashboards, visualizations, and executive-level reporting products.Analyze programmatic, operational, and policy-related data to identify trends and opportunities.Translate complex data into concise and understandable analytical narratives.Collaborate with program managers, subject-matter experts, and data stewards.Define and refine reporting and data requirements.Validate metrics and support data-quality initiatives.Promote data literacy and analytical best practices.Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation.Support cross-functional and interagency teams.Help stakeholders effectively use analytical tools and data products.Required QualificationsActive and maintained Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.Bachelor’s degree in data science, public policy, international affairs, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, visualization, or program evaluation.Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Excel.Familiarity with SQL preferred.Experience developing dashboards, analytical products, and executive-level reports.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear information for technical and non-technical audiences.Preferred QualificationsProfessional certification or formal training in data analytics or visualization, such as Power BI or Tableau.Experience developing stakeholder training and user guides.Experience supporting data-literacy initiatives.Experience working with cross-functional or interagency teams.Background working at the intersection of policy, operations, and data.CompensationThe estimated annual salary range is $113,000–$188,000.Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, professional experience, education, certifications, security clearance, technical skills, and organizational requirements.BenefitsThe position may include a comprehensive benefits package featuring:Medical, prescription, dental, and vision insurancePaid holidays and sick leavePotential performance-based incentive compensationParental leave and adoption assistance401(k) retirement planLife insuranceHealth Savings Account and Flexible Spending AccountsShort- and long-term disability coverageStudent loan assistanceTuition reimbursementProfessional development and certification opportunitiesEmployee referral programsCommunity and corporate eventsEmergency backup childcareMobility assistance
