Team members contribute to a mission-driven culture built on excellence, mentorship, and community impact.Role DescriptionThe Programs Administrative Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Costa Mesa, CA. This position provides administrative and operational support to the Programs Department, keeping ALC's school-based and community arts programs organized, staffed, and well communicated. Daily responsibilities include maintaining program calendars, rosters, and records, coordinating Teaching Artist schedules, placements, and substitutes, confirming schedules and performance dates with school partners, and answering routine family questions. The Coordinator also tracks program supplies, supports performances, showcases, and field trips, and keeps tasks updated in ALC's project-management system so leadership has clear visibility into priorities.Qualifications1 to 3 years of administrative, program coordination, education, nonprofit, or related experience preferred.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail.Clear, professional communication with school administrators, educators, parents, and artists.Ability to manage multiple schedules, schools, Teaching Artists, and deadlines at once.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project-management systems.Ability to learn new technology and systems quickly.Ability to work independently while taking direction from program leadership.Experience in arts education, K-12 education, youth programming, or nonprofit organizations preferred.
