Program Chair

Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Program Chair for Computer Networking and Cybersecurity for a higher education client in the Southern California area. This position is responsible for overseeing the development and success of the Computer Networking and Cybersecurity program and the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems program. The primary goal of this position is to manage and advance each program's curriculum, its faculty, and student success outcomes. This position is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing institution in a leadership capacity.Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in networking, cybersecurity, or a related IT discipline.2+ years of experience in a Managerial or Leadership role (has experience influencing teams, hiring, etc)Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceCertifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CCNA are strongly preferred.Teaching experience at an accredited college or university is highly preferred, but not required.Compensation$100,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.
