Program Consultant

Our client, a not for profit impact arm of one of India's leading FMCG companies is looking to engage with a Consultant.About the Role : One of the most distinctive value propositions our client offers its award winners - a curated, high quality half day event held approximately one month after the Grand Finale, where winners get access to preset, intent aligned meetings with 30 pre-selected institutions including venture capitalists, corporate leaders, grantmakers, and philanthropists. Think of it as a premium demo day built specifically to help India's most promising innovators access capital, business, and strategic partnerships. The Program Consultant will conceptualise, build, and lead this event from scratch and will also support select broader Awards workstreams. Reporting into the Program Manager.Key Responsibilities • Conceptualise and build the event: define the format, curation criteria, and intent matching methodology for winner to institution meetings• Source and onboard 30 high quality, intent aligned institutions across VCs, corporates, grantmakers, and philanthropic bodies• Build and manage the full relationship pipeline for the event institutions from sourcing through event day• Design and execute the preset meeting structure on the day of the event• Work cross functionally with the Event Consultant on venue and event logistics• Coordinate with the Project Consultant on winner facing operations and coordination• Support select broader Awards workstreams as directed by the Program ManagerDuration- 12 monthsCapacity- Full timeLocation- MumbaiSkills Required• Deep understanding of the startup and innovation ecosystem in India: VCs, accelerators, CSR programs, and grant making institutions• Experience running or meaningfully contributing to demo days, accelerator programs, or startup funder connect platforms• Strong partnership and relationship building skills with corporates, VCs, and grant making bodies• A program builder comfortable with a blank canvas: can conceptualise and execute from first principles• Energetic, entrepreneurially minded, and comfortable with ambiguity• Mumbai-based, available for a 12-month consulting engagement
