Organization Description: Colorado Food Cluster (CFC) Inc. partners with community organizations throughout Colorado to provide critical support, resources and services to students and their families. Through culturally responsive approaches, CFC provides nutritious meals to children and families throughout Colorado leveraging federally funded programs. CFC continuously seeks opportunities and programs that remove barriers to access food, for all people in our communities using innovative solutions to improve access to nutritious food.Job Overview:The Program Coordinator will support the successful implementation of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), ensuring CFC meets applicable federal and state requirements as a Sponsor organization. The Coordinator will  support program implementation, day-to-day operations, and continued development of CFC’s newest Medicaid meal delivery program.The Program Coordinator will manage a variety of daily administrative and program responsibilities, including recordkeeping, partner onboarding and support, site visits, program audits, service expansion, and communications. The Program Coordinator will work closely with partners to ensure they have the information and resources needed to successfully provide services while meeting required program timelines and deadlines.The Program Coordinator must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and support CFC programs as needs evolve throughout the year. Travel to different regions of Colorado will be required.This position includes a 30-day introductory period, after which the employee becomes eligible for health insurance benefits.Essential Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support planning and coordination of ongoing programs and activities for CACFP, Home Delivered Meals through Medicaid, and SFSP.Proactively and independently manage assigned daily tasks, projects, and program deadlines.Maintain an understanding of rules, regulations, and policies applicable to Federal Nutrition Programs, stay current on updated requirements, and interpret operational impacts.Design systems and structures for effective program implementation and expansion efforts for CACFP, Medicaid, and SFSP.Support monthly CACFP and SFSP claim preparation, including review and reconciliation of attendance, meal counts, enrollment records, Income Eligibility Forms, menus, production records, and other required documentation.Identify missing, incomplete, expired, or noncompliant documentation and communicate necessary corrections to participating sites prior to claim submission.Track claim deadlines and required program submissions to ensure timely and accurate reporting.Support preparation and organization of program records for state reviews, audits, and other oversight activities.Conduct required federal onsite monitoring visits to providers and caretakers across Colorado, including but not limited to home care providers, afterschool programs, and childcare centers.Document monitoring findings and communicate required follow-up or corrective actions to participating sites when applicable.Coordinate with food vendors regarding menus, meal orders, delivery schedules, substitutions, documentation, service issues, and program compliance.Train and onboard new centers, home providers, vendors, and other partners on CFC processes, documentation requirements, program systems, meal service procedures, and applicable program requirements.Maintain consistent follow-up with partners regarding outstanding documentation, deadlines, compliance issues, and operational changes.Engage partners to inform them of program offerings and enroll students, centers, and home providers in meal delivery programs.Work with community organizations to inform them about programming and support enrollment efforts.Identify and manage partners with aligned missions and priorities.Manage daily email and phone communications in the CRM system from families accessing programming.Support families with program registration platforms and troubleshoot issues.Develop and disseminate high-quality communications to support program implementation and expansion.Facilitate external presentations about CFC programs for multiple audiences.Support development and distribution of external communications, including but not limited to newsletters, social media, and customer service communications.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications and Experiences: Bachelor's degree or relevant years of experience. Registered Dietitian or Certified Nutritionist credential required to support Medicaid program requirements.2+ of experience working with communities. Excellent organizational and time management skills.Detail-oriented and efficient.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to review documentation for accuracy and completeness.Ability to communicate expectations, deadlines, and compliance concerns professionally with external partners.Ability to execute projects from development phase to operation.Experience implementing public programming preferably programs funded through federal funds.Ability to work independently in a remote work environment while maintaining consistent communication, documentation, and accountability.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accurate and organized records.Have access to reliable transportation.Have a valid drivers license.Ability to travel to all areas of Colorado as needed.Preferred Qualifications and Experience:Candidates who are bilingual are strongly encouraged to apply.Focus and special interest in food insecurity, childcare and policy.Experience with CACFP, SFSP, Medicaid, or other federal/state nutrition or human services programs. Proficiency working in Google Suite.Problem Solver.Strong understanding of community engagement strategies.Colorado Food Cluster is an Equal Opportunity Employer. BenefitsColorado Food Cluster offers health, dental and retirement options for employees. ***PLEASE APPLYING USING THIS FORM: https://forms.gle/6YpF5Tkk2exnGG5w5
