Program Director

We are seeking an experienced Program Director to join a major new rail programme.The successful candidate will take a senior leadership position, overseeing project delivery and working with a highly experienced international team.This is a long-term opportunity offering the chance to play a key role in the delivery of a major transport infrastructure programme.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide senior leadership and strategic direction across the project.Oversee the successful delivery of major rail infrastructure works.Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, consultants and contractors.Manage programme, budget, risk, quality and overall project performance.Drive effective coordination between the JV partners, client, PMC and delivery teams.Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual, technical, safety and quality requirements.Provide senior-level reporting and stakeholder management.Identify and resolve complex project issues and delivery risks.Ensure effective integration of tunnelling and wider rail infrastructure works.RequirementsExtensive experience working on major rail infrastructure projects.Proven experience at Project Director / Programme Director / senior project leadership level.Strong experience delivering high-value, complex rail programmes.Significant tunnelling experience is desirableExperience working across multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of project controls, programme management, commercial delivery and risk.Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.International project experience is preferred.Minimum of 25 years experience in the sector with demonstrable delivery experience on major rail or transport infrastructure projects.GCC experience would be highly preferred.
