This is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of a large-scale nuclear energy initiative, from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional project management expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance. You will work collaboratively with international stakeholders, government agencies, and technical teams to deliver a transformational project that advances the region's energy infrastructure.Develop and execute comprehensive program strategies, timelines, and budgets for the nuclear project, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirementsProvide decisive leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and support staff, while fostering a culture of accountability and excellenceManage all aspects of project budget, financial forecasting, and resource allocation, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal utilization of fundsCoordinate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and international partners to ensure compliance with IAEA standards, UAE nuclear regulations, and all applicable safety protocolsIdentify, analyze, and mitigate project risks through detailed planning and proactive problem-solvingMonitor project performance against key milestones and deliverables, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain schedule and quality standardsOversee vendor and contractor management, including procurement, performance evaluation, and contract negotiationsEstablish and maintain rigorous quality assurance and safety management systems across all project phasesPrepare and present detailed progress reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholdersChampion a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to all nuclear safety protocols and best practicesQualificationsMinimum 20 years of progressive experience in nuclear energy project management, large-scale infrastructure projects, or related sectorsProfessional project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2Comprehensive knowledge of nuclear safety standards, IAEA regulations, and international nuclear industry best practicesDemonstrated expertise in program budgeting, financial management, and cost controlProven leadership experience managing large, diverse teams in complex, regulated environmentsStrong analytical and strategic planning skills with the ability to assess complex technical and operational challengesExcellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, with experience engaging government agencies and international partnersProficiency in project management tools and software platformsDetailed understanding of contract negotiation and vendor managementExperience working in the Middle East or UAE regulatory environment (preferred)Familiarity with large-scale energy infrastructure or utility projects (preferred)Knowledge of quality assurance and safety management systems (preferred)
